Come join our fast paced and growing team at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), supporting our exciting portfolio of diverse beverage brands to drive growth initiatives on a premier customer - Kroger.  This position is located in downtown Cincinnati – in close proximity to Kroger’s General Office and within walking distance of a tremendous amount of amenities and dining options.

OVERVIEW:

The National Account Executive (NAE) – Direct Store Delivery (DSD) will partner with a strong team of selling support professionals in leading one of our DSD categories at Kroger. Achievement and measures of success will be secured through strong collaboration with our system and bottler network, our National Account Division Managers for Kroger, and of course, calling and supporting Kroger Category Managers for period and promotional reviews and new item presentations.  The prime candidate will be the principle point of contact for Kroger for all related selling, promotional, pricing, and divisional related matters and will use their internal selling network and a high spirit of collaboration to ensure a team first approach is achieved in building and executing exceptional customer plans.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Day to day leader and principle point of contact and accountability for large DSD desk – will be accountable for the delivery of the Annual Operating Plan and the achievement of key KDP and Kroger business metrics

•Sales lead on one of our key DSD Category Portfolio desks for Kroger (DSD Categories for Keurig Dr Pepper at Kroger include Carbonated Soft Drinks, Snapple, Allied and Emerging Brands). Operate as the “tip of the spear” in conjunction with selling and support development from Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing, and E-Commerce

•Responsible for creation and execution of that desk at Kroger (Business Plan Strategy and Development, New Item Sell In, Forecasting, and Period Reviews)

•Develop & manage promotional plans & trade spend strategies of that desk (trade spend analysis, price pack plan modeling, and adjustments)

•Develop and manage effective day to day communication plans with our bottler networks, affiliated system leads, dedicated Division Managers, and Kroger (e.g. Point of Sale (POS) and financial scorecards, new item tracking, etc.)

•Represent the team in internal and external quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning meetings, utilizing the network of business professionals supporting this desk (e.g. quarterly bottler/system network updates, semi-annual planning meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) and Joint Business Planning (JBP’s), and brand planning meetings annually)

•Collaborate across boundaries and functions to innovate processes, co-create merchandising tools, enhance customer relevancy in the E-commerce and shopper marketing spaces, and enhance and maintain bottler and system network high functioning relationships



Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Minimum:

•BS/BA (or equivalent)

Experience Minimum Required:

•Minimum 3 years of progressive customer management and sales leadership experience

Minimum 1 year of cross-functional experience outside of Sales (e.g., Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing, E-Commerce)   

Experience Preferred Level:

•Minimum 5 years of progressive customer management and sales leadership experience (including some people leadership)

•Minimum 2 years of cross-functional experience outside of Sales (e.g., Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing, E-Commerce)

•Kroger and DSD experience a plus

Minimum Required Other Skills:

•Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook
