Job Description



The Allentown operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling and variety packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center.  The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams.  All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation.  The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes

Manufacturing Inventory Supervisor

The Manufacturing Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the inventory management processes.  Provide leadership and the technical expertise to develop and maintain processes regarding all transactions Inventory Accuracy/Control. 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs duties with a safety first approach
  • Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
  • Assists in developing, implementing and maintain policies, procedures and inventory control systems that are in accordance to internal SOX standards
  • Perform inventory transactions per Materials Management process documents, conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy, timely execution, ensuring SOX compliance and best practices
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies with quantity, receipts, picking, shipping, BOMs, etc. for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
  • Ability to work closely with internal stake holders to ensure maximum efficiencies
  • Communicate with Planners, and Materials team when shortages/inventory impacts are identified
  • Responsible for developing and presenting reports in order to communicate the value, aging, movement, and accuracy of inventory
  • Maintains root-cause corrective action procedures including trend analysis around cycle count results and inventory management processes to drive process improvements
  • Review, recommend, and implement process changes and improvements including preparing written instructions in order to facilitate the implementation of these methods and procedures
  • Works in conjunction with site personal to develop rapid improvement events around inventory to drive process improvement
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • 2 years of inventory control management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience with automated management systems (SAP or ERP systems).
  • 2 years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Excel
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
