Keurig Dr Pepper’s products are distributed through a complex network of Pepsi, Coke, and Independent bottling and distribution companies, among others. The Licensing team is focused on providing broad, strategic and transformative vision for KDP’s route to market, which will allow KDP’s current and future brands to meet their full potential.

This position will be accountable for internally with commercial partners and externally with strategy consultants to determine beneficial route to market changes that will support our long-term growth goals. The role will have significant exposure to KDP’s senior management. Working directly with the Director of Strategy and Analytics and with the support of the outside consultants, the manager will support the company’s strategic vision and supporting analytics for bottler brand alignment, bottling group sales, and bottler acquisitions. She/He will lead problem solving and opportunity evaluation, including strategic and financial analysis and the creation of business plans for high potential opportunities.  The role will be responsible for proactively monitoring changes in the external environment together with progress against internal goals to determine when to adjust vs. stay the course and sharpen execution.

The ideal candidate will bring 2 or more years of management consulting experience from a leading strategy consulting firm. They will provide broad, strategic input into potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to ensure maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with the overall business strategy.  Blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking. With direct access to senior executives, this individual will lead highly visible projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior leaders to help uncover and address strategic business opportunities
  • Conduct research and analyses to shape the overall strategic dialogue
  • Lead strategic projects ('special projects') and cross-functional teams in driving strategic efforts
  • Accountable for driving results, defining outcomes, and ensuring that the strategy is executed successfully to change business outcomes
  • Identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
  • Structure and define approach to new strategic problems
  • Conduct analyses (e.g., financial, strategic, operational, organizational)
  • Conduct research and interviews with in-house and external sources
  • Synthesize complex strategic problems into clear, actionable plans and ensure execution for success
  • Drive alignment among senior leaders
  • Drive corporate strategy development


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US or international university in Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or other highly analytical discipline (e.g., engineering)
  • MBA from top ranking institution preferred
  • 4 years’ experience in Finance, Strategy, Marketing, OR 2 years if in a leading consulting firm
  • 2 years’ experience applying 'technical' skills in corporate strategy and business development, specifically with regards to financial modelling and analysis, strategic problem solving, valuation and company due diligence, and business plan development
  • 2 years’ demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Excel modeling skills (ex. working with large datasets)
  • 2 years’ experience developing and delivering compelling MS PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience with mapping tools such as ArcGIS a plus, but not required
