Key Responsibilities

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is advancing its eCommerce roles and capabilities in the highly dynamic and rapidly evolving online grocery retail industry. This position is a high profile, cross-functional career developmental role on the eCommerce team, reporting directly to the Sr. Director, eCommerce Operations & RTM within our KDP eCommerce organization.

The Manager, eCommerce Allied & Emerging (A&E) is primarily responsible for developing, executing and accelerating the strategy and growth of the Allied and Emerging brand portfolio within the KDP eCommerce business. We are seeking high-performance team talent who is willing to take smart risks and has a strong ability to lead and drive action.   The responsibilities of this role include day-to-day oversight of the current online KDP A&E brands (including but not limited to, Bai, CORE, evian, Ashoc, Forto & Peet’s) and includes managing future acquisition brands. The Manager, eCommerce A&E will work commercially and operationally with key stakeholders within KDP and with our A&E partners on planning, analytics, distribution and marketing of the online A&E portfolio to accelerate and expand the online presence and growth of our KDP A&E brands.  



 

 

Accountabilities

  • Lead the development, management and implementation of the KDP Allied & Emerging eCommerce strategy with our Pure Play, Omni-channel, 3P and Keurig direct eCommerce teams, the eCommerce digital marketing team, applicable KDP commercial teams and our key stakeholders for the A&E portfolio of brands.
  • Develop integrated digital commerce and demand generation strategies that will enable aggressive growth and share gains within the KDP A&E eCommerce business and deliver profitable results
  • Engage both internally and externally with key stakeholders across the KDP Allied & Emerging enterprise to develop and deliver the company's long and short term growth plans.
  • Collaboration with KDP eCommerce sales teams to develop and execute customer-specific digital commerce strategies through deep understanding of how customer account strategies align with our KDP goals. Ensure programs are aligned across customer teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital commerce related supply chain, operations, or product packaging initiatives to support and grow the A&E eCommerce business through strategic thought leadership on product development, pricing, and product assortment specific to KDP online channels.
  • Support KDP eCommerce Digital Marketing team to develop and execute holistic digital product content strategy for the eCommerce channel; partner with cross-functional allied marketing teams to manage, evaluate, and optimize product detail, copy, brand and multimedia content on omni-channel customer websites.
  • Provide monthly reporting and scorecards to monitor the health of the KDP eCommerce A&E portfolio, owning impact to the KDP eCommerce P&L and identifying A&E risks and contingency plans related to execution and results.
  • Delivers A&E eCommerce playbooks for executing successful operational, sales and marketing plans, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of necessary information related to the A&E plan, programs, products and pricing, ensuring a competitive position.
  • Maintain a sharp external focus and proactive communication of eCommerce trends, insights, eRetailers, our competition and emerging technology that impact the KDP A&E portfolioCompetencies required for the position include

  • Strong analytical skills –Requires the ability to synthesize large data sets and financial analytics to derive facts, insights and recommendations in order to build the story and key takeaways most pertinent to the project initiatives and objectives
  • Cross-functional knowledge and collaboration – proven ability to work within a matrixed commercial organization through influencing and managing relationships effectively and driving results cross functionally, both internally and externally (Finance/Revenue Management, Supply Chain/Order Management, A&E Brand teams, Legal/Licensing, Sales, Marketing and IT)
  • Proactive management and communication skills  -  proven ability and capability to manage and balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously supported with thorough, simplified and accurate output

Strong problem-solving capabilities – proven track record of finding viable and sound business solutions to complex problems and challenges, in environments with limited and partial information



Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 yrs. CPG industry experience
  • Minimum 3 yrs. eCommerce experience preferred within CPG industry
  • Extensive expertise on eCommerce practices and technology related to online retailing and merchandising
  • Proven operational and brand experience
  • Effective communicator; establishes credibility & builds relationships at all organizational levels
  • Highly collaborative and can influence
  • Conducts business in a professional, positive manner
  • Strong organizational, commercial planning, communication and presentation skills with great attention to detail.
