Keurig Brewers utilize advanced technology to provide the Perfect Cup, in every cup. Working in a systems-oriented environment, the Machine Learning Software Engineer will work in the Advanced Development team and work with the team to define, design and implement recognition and machine learning software for the next generation of the residential and commercial series of Keurig smart brewers.  The Machine Learning Software Engineer will report to the Senior Software Manager responsible for Software development for Keurig Dr Pepper Appliance systems. This role will be a blend of both hands on development and execution. 

You Will: 

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of the recognition technology and machine learning platforms for the Advanced Development team 
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Development Architect and other Software Product Architects as well as and product management team to translate system architecture and product requirements into well implemented software components. 
  • Contribute as a hands-on Individual Contributor or Project Lead committed to team success, willing to do the simple or complicated tasks to move a project forward 
  • Support the integration of recognition and machine learning technologies into the Keurig Connected Brewer programs, performing knowledge transfers, trainings, bug fixes, feature enhancements, and documentation as needed 



Requirements

Requirements  

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or commensurate experience required 
  • 1-3 years of embedded software development experience  
  • 1-3 years coding knowledge and experience with several languages including C, C++, Python  
  • Knowledge of modern Machine Learning algorithms and software engineering best practices 
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, pyTorch, sci-kit learn, numpy or pandas  
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment  
  • Excellent communication, analytical reasoning, decision making and problem-solving skills desired 

Bonus points for : 

  • Experience in consumer product space 
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket 
  • Experience using hardware and software tools used in development and debugging; emulators, simulators, modeling, scopes, logic analyzers 
  • Knowledge of microprocessor based hardware design
