Keurig Brewers utilize advanced technology to deliver the Perfect Cup, in every cup. The brewer is just one part of a connected ecosystem consisting of Mobile Apps, Voice Assistants, Web Portals, Business Intelligence Tools, and the back-end services to support them all. The Senior Mobile Development Engineer will be a key individual in the Cloud Platform team, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and systems-oriented environment. You will collaborate with others Technical Leads, UX Designers, Product Managers, as well as other members of the Cloud Platform team, to define and lead all technical aspects of the Mobile and Voice applications.

What you will do:

  • Work in an Agile development environment to design, create, improve, and maintain the Mobile Applications (iOS and Android), as well as the Voice Applications (Alexa and Google Home), for the Connected Platform
  • Understand business requirements, translate them into designs, lead and take part in proof-of-concept prototypes and final deliverables
  • Be responsible for the overall Mobile App technology solution including selecting technology, build vs. buy recommendations, and participating in partner selection
  • Be the technology lead of an internationally distributed team of development, test, and release teams
  • Work with other Architects for IoT, API, Business Intelligence, Product Managers, UX designers, and a variety of Enterprise System owners to create the perfect digital experience for Keurig customers
  • Be the go-to expert on all things related to client apps and device technology trends and best practices
  • Recommend and implement practices to improve consistency, quality and development efficiency


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Masters or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience working as a technology leader in Agile or Scrum environments 
  • Ability to analyze requirements and make data-driven decisions resulting in application architecture and technology solutions
  • Advanced communications skills using the full spectrum of modern collaboration tools
  • Ability effectively lead an international cross-functional distributed engineering team and technical partners
  • Commercial Apple and Android App development and professional leadership experience, including at least five years as a technical lead or architect
  • Extensive knowledge of iOS and Android mobile app development from technology stack selection to publishing in the store(s), including native SDKs, cross-platform frameworks such as Xamarin, Flutter, and React Native, device communication stacks such as Wi-Fi, BLE, and NFC, automated test frameworks, RESTful APIs, and applicable design patterns
  • Experience with Design Systems (reusable UI components and UX patterns)
  • Ability to participate in proof-of-concept projects (hand-on coding) with other architects
  • Expert level proficiency with team-oriented software development tools, including version control (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, SVN, etc.) and software lifecycle (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.) 

Bonus points for:

  • Public cloud back-end development experience, preferably Azure
  • A portfolio of successfully deployed apps
  • Alexa, Google Home, and web front-end experience
  • Previous experience interfacing IoT devices
  • Experience developing embedded IoT devices
