Inventory Coordinator

The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product.  Main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking.  Coordinates relationships with plants to facilitate elimination out of stocks and overstocks.  Communicate to Demand Planning, any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving central planning.

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position, working 3rd shift 5 days of the week including weekeneds, days off will be scheduled during the week, although flexibility is required to work on a different schedule, overtime and holidays as needed.

Position Compensation

The rate of pay for this position will be based on experience; plus an attractive benefits package to include Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Conduct a physical inventory of Full Goods using an RF handheld scanning equipment and a physical inventory of Raw Materials and Concentrates, keying in inventories into spreadsheets and SAP.
  2. Perform an Age Inventory of product in warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
  3. Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures and processes; research outstanding issues related to inventory reconciliation; reconcile any inventory discrepancies and handle any follow up questions from customers.
  4. Issue out any production /warehouse inventory breakage and any employee product usage and post full goods inventory without discrepancies.
  5. Handle period ending inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to Plant Operations.
  6.  Prepare, maintain and distribute reports related to inventory.
  7. Run production labels.
  8. Ensure SOX compliance following the SOX checklists related to inventory
  9. May also need to support warehouse operations, including shift based oversight for forklift operators

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in supply planning or inventory control
  • 2 years of experience using RF Technology
  • 2 years of experience SAP or similar Warehouse Management System
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
