HRIS Operations Product Owner

This HRIS Operations Product Owner role is a highly motivated, bold champion of change that leverages blended technical acumen and HR functional expertise to proactively operationalize process excellence while driving innovation. What you will do:

  • Support organizational transformation initiatives and projects by utilizing your extensive technical experience in cloud-based systems, such as Workday, and middle ware (e.g. Mulesoft).
  • Utilize your experience with HR enterprise architecture systems to support organizational design, projects and initiatives.
  • Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and experience to conceptualize, evaluate, design, and deliver operations strategies and processes necessary to support projected business growth.
  • Identify, collaborate with, and lead organizational business partners/stakeholders (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, and Payroll) to define and document technical and functional requirements meticulously. 
  • Apply lean six sigma and / or Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) methodologies to support the execution of structured projects and processes.
  • Demonstrated successful application of Agile and Scrum Product Owner methodology, tools, and best practices
  • Solicit, identify, and develop process improvement initiatives to simplify and streamline day-to-day HR business operations using your previous experience in  
  • Champion continuous improvement and lead process-improvement initiatives to manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions. 
  • Define new processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives.
  • Maintain direct contact with key stakeholders, working with them to create and document processes to improve workflows and minimize points of friction.
  • Partner with senior business leaders and stakeholders across functions to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve and optimize current operations.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and stakeholders within the business and maximize the value of those relationships to drive cross-functional operations.
  • Develop required process and delivery documentation and report status to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
  • Be comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
  • Be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
  • Be experienced in effective change management techniques and implementation
  • Possess broad knowledge covering multiple Human Resources functions
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our best practices
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our operating principles
  • Anticipate to travel up to 25%

Requirements and Qualifications

The HRIS Operations Product Owner is a critical position with many responsibilities. It is imperative to have a diverse skill set, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related degree field from an accredited college or university required; graduate degree a plus
  • PMP® Certification strongly preferred or equivalent
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification strongly preferred or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ Workday HCM experience preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in an information systems or HRIS organization, required
  • 3 years' experience in process improvement and documentation, required
  • Consultant and delivery management expertise strongly preferred. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Adaptability- ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities according to the variety of functions and projects
  • Analytical, critical-thinking ability – which is key to evaluate broad impacts of work, processes and change management
  • Systems-thinker- which is key to addressing top-level concerns and finding the solution and best path forward from all of the available data
