Job Description

As a Distribution Shift Coordinator you will work with all areas within the Distribution Center (DC) to ensure products flow efficiently from receiving to production to packaging to distribution. This person will also work with supervision to streamline efficiency of product flow with emphasis on training and quality.

Shift and Schedule:

This position will be based in our Knoxville, TN facility and will work on the N2 shift, Friday - Sunday with alternating Thursdays, with hours from 5:00pm - 5:15am EST.

*Additional flexibility to work potential overtime, including off-shifts and/or holidays, is also required depending on changing business needs.


The starting pay rate for this position is $18.15/hour + shift differential. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K, etc.) is also available. 

What you will do:

  • Work alongside the Team Associates performing daily activities.
  • Tracks and monitors daily shift activities and makes adjustments as needed to ensure product is put-away and or pulled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that proper SAP processes are being followed.
  • Manage team conflicts so that problems are resolved constructively.
  • Facilitate team meetings using appropriate project planning techniques that are used by Keurig Dr Pepper.
  • Ensures that operating policy and procedures are consistently followed and maintained.
  • Establish and sustain sound relationships with all employees in order to foster an environment where innovative methods are used to involve others in creative solutions to issues.
  • Facilitate the effective interchange of information between work groups, between work groups and support resources at the plant and from within Keurig Dr Pepper.
  • Supports continuous improvement goals and safety, quality, cost and customer service.
  • Identifies problems or bottlenecks in distribution processes and resolves issues.
  • Works with DC supervisors to ensure resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain shipping and receiving schedules.
  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Ensures employee training is consistent with policy and procedural guidelines.
  • Works directly with DC supervisors and other support departments on projects to improve quality, streamline efficiencies and ensure customer demands are met in a timely manner.
  • Works with DC supervisors on formal evaluations for team members twice a year.
  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures


What you must have:

  • High School Diploma or GED or actively working toward one.
  • Prior supervision or team leader experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to uphold Safety standards, participates in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follows our Manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our Operating principles.
  • Ability to operate all DC material handling equipment.
  • Prior forklift operation experience highly preferred.
  • Prior handheld scanner experience highly preferred. 
  • Good computers skills – specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) highly preferred.
  • Ability to operate SAP for efficient flow of products through the distribution area.
  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment. 
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift
  • Ability to push/pull up to 1.500 pounds using supplied equipment
  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
