Are you interested in shaping the future of connected consumer technology at a leading beverage and appliance company?  At Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), we’re building a team that will develop and execute our IoT strategies, including defining the connected products roadmap, implementing the enabling technology platforms to bring them to market, and pursuing the data monetization opportunities that connected products can deliver.  These changes will revolutionize the Keurig® beverage systems business.

As the Director, Technology Partnerships, you will drive business development and management of key external technology partnerships as part of KDP’s IoT transformation.  You will build and lead the Technology Partnerships team, responsible for developing partnerships strategy, identifying and evaluating key technology and platform partners, developing new partnerships, and managing existing relationships for maximum value delivery.  These partnerships are multi-million-dollar relationships, primarily with industry-leading consumer electronics suppliers and service providers.  You will also be part of the small leadership team defining KDP’s connected products and data strategies.

What you will do

  • Lead strategy definition for major technology partnerships that will help realize Keurig Dr Pepper’s aggressive growth and value-creation ambitions for connected products and data solutions
  • Build and manage the Technology Partnerships team
  • Collaborate with product teams and corporate leadership in developing connected products and data strategies and managing operational execution
  • Identify and prioritize partnership needs and high-potential partner candidates
  • Negotiate and secure new and updated strategic partnership deals
  • Collaborate with partners to define objectives and strategies
  • Engender strategic and operational coordination among our portfolio of partners
  • Develop and manage to partner SOWs and performance KPIs, both day-to-day and over the long term
  • Travel up to 20%, including 1-3 international trips per year, to interface with partners
  • Interface between KDP and the partner organizations to ensure efficient execution, working with product, engineering, design, legal, finance and other internal teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and leading players in the mobile app, IoT and embedded software spaces


Requirements

What you have

  •  Bachelor’s degree required; MS degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant technology business development/partnerships experience, preferably with software, cloud services, data management, AI/analytics and electronics hardware companies
  • Knowledge of the technology landscape for connected consumer products and analytical systems
  • Track record of driving outsized value through technology partnerships
  • Proven ability to lead within a complex, large-scale organization
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, leaders and outside partners up to the C-level
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
