The Continuous Improvement (CI) Supervisor is responsible for leading highly visible transformation to drive a cultural shift in continuous improvement. This role is expected to implement rapid change and be a hands-on team builder. Use existing knowledge of TPM principles, combined with on the job process expertise to identify opportunities, prioritize and manage multiple improvement projects. Additionally, this position will lead high-impact, cross-functional teams by utilizing TPM/Lean & Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to deliver significant value to the Keurig Dr Pepper business.

This is a highly visible/Strategic role with significant exposure to Plant leadership on a regular basis and requires an ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization. This individual will need to demonstrate leadership skills and passion around continuous improvement, as well as strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and project management capabilities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Will utilize system skills (data pull and statistical analysis) frequently.
  • Implement process enhancements to improve package changeover and line efficiency.
  • Utilize knowledge to maximize asset utilization and plant performance and report Plant KPI’s.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
  • Guide and support maintenance technicians in trouble-shooting production equipment when necessary.
  • Implement TPM strategy and training program within the facility.
  • Support in the development of High Performance Work Teams and assist with leading cultural development through TPM implementation.
  • Able to work independently and successfully facilitate cross functional teams, while implementing improvement within an established time frame.
  • Coach and lead cross-functional teams; including team building, understanding motivation and negotiation techniques and providing work direction to others.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university highly preferred
  • Green Belt Certification preferred
  • 3 years of work experience in a Continuous Improvement function (Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Total Productive Maintenance)
  • 2 year of experience in facilitating and leading improvement events
