As a Brand Manager on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters®, you are responsible for defining strategies to drive growth through innovation, communication, and media and partnering across the organization to drive execution and results.  This person will report into the Senior Director, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters® and Portfolio Initiatives.  The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of brand management experience and a leadership style that fuses inspiration with a passion for making a difference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a Leader on a High-Performing Team

  • Deploy general manager mindset to drive business strategies and position us for success. Leverage strong commercial knowledge and financial acumen to support delivery of annual operating plan.
  • Champion and drive alignment behind key elements of the brand’s strategy with senior management and key functional stakeholders. Includes consulting with cross-functional partners across the organization.
  • Inspire others to take action through authentic leadership, passion, and commitment to winning.
  • Participate in key Sales and Marketing presentations.

Champion Key Brand Growth Initiatives

  • Drive brand innovation strategy and partner with Innovation team to develop holistic 3+ year innovation pipeline.
  • Partner with Innovation team and key cross-functionals to commercialize close-in innovation (line extensions, LTOs) when necessary.
  • Develop and drive execution of brand’s strategy to win in E-commerce, including Keurig.com, Amazon, and retailer sites.

Drive Consumer Engagement Through Communication Strategy & Messaging

  • Recommend marketing support plans for the brand.
  • Coordinate execution of marketing support plans across the brand in partnership with range of cross-functional Marketing partners; includes helping define communications strategy and developing creative briefs accordingly.
  • Liaise with internal media team to help shape brand’s media strategy based on objectives and performance data.

Deliver Consumer Insights That Drive Action

  • Analyze insights, brand tracking data, sales information and projections, campaign performance data, and other meaningful information to determine the profitability and viability of new and existing programs.

Measure Success

  • Exercise critical thinking to set high performance standards, measure for success, and adjust plan to deliver against growth agenda.
  • Leverage outputs of Marketing Mix analysis and other marketing analytics to inform an evolved approach to marketing the brand.

Requirements

  • BA or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of brand marketing/brand management experience, preferably with a meaningful stint at a Fortune 500 CPG corporation
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • This role is based at the KDP Burlington, MA headquarters location. Relocation to Greater Boston area is required with 10%-15% travel.
