Job Description



As a part of the Keurig Dr Pepper Finance team, you will collaborate with cross functional partners and
finance teams to help analyze results and play an integral role in the forecasting and budgeting
processes. The Emerging Brands business is a $0.7B+ rapidly growing portfolio of new brands that
serves as a growth engine for the organization and sells across multiple channels (DSD, WD, Third Party Distributors). The Fountain Food Service business is a $0.5B+ established fountain CSD business that
has deep relationships with national chains and local food services. This important role requires the
strong financial and analytical acumen to serve as a subject matter expert coupled with the desire and
curiosity to drive change through continuous process improvement and collaboration. You will support the business partners through financial modeling, fact-based analyses, contract review, and the interpretation of key business results and financial trends. This role will report to the Senior Director of Finance for Emerging Brands and Fountain Food Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze actual business results vs forecast, budget, and prior year by brand, customer, and route
    to market and develop actionable insights
  • Create, improve, and maintain financial models and files to help increase the efficiency and
    effectiveness of team capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners and other Finance team members to execute EB/FFS
    strategies and gain alignment
  • Proactively manage trade spend to identify risks and opportunities
  • Support Emerging Brands M&A activities
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports and presentations for Leadership Team meetings, Business
    Reviews, and the Weekly Flash
  • Actively contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan, Period Forecasts, and gap
    closure initiatives as well as heavily involved in the month end close process
  • Review customer contracts and recommend funding model revisions
  • Develop a detailed understanding of financial systems including SAP, TM1, and various business
    warehouse or BI cubes and to extract data and support the interpretation of periodic results
    Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed


Requirements

  • Experience/Education
    • 3+ years of relevant work experience (financial analysis/forecasting/budgeting/modeling)
      required; experience in publicly traded Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university preferred; MBA
      and/or CPA a plus
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced capabilities in Excel (Pivot Tables and V-Lookups), PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Strong working knowledge of financial planning and reporting software platforms (SAP,
      Hyperion, TM1, Tableau, and/or Anaplan)
  • Core Competencies
    • Expertise in retrieving, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing large data to support
      management in achieving strategic and operational goals
    • Passion to drive accurate and timely results with a continuous improvement mindset in a
      fast-moving operating environment
    • High proficiency to model business requirements and prepare 'what-if' analyses
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
