Position Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager for the RTD Alcohol portfolio of brands at Keurig Dr. Pepper.  Reporting directly to the Senior Manager RTD, the successful candidate will support the team in defining strategies and implementing the annual brand marketing plans for the Ready to Drink Liquor portfolio. They will play a key role in driving relevance with consumers to drive growth for our brands in both the short and long term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and collaborate to develop the long- and short-term brand strategy and marketing plans
  • Build and develop clear communication internally (cross-functionally) and externally (with all agency partners and broker network) that give focused direction to develop programs that build the brands and deliver results
  • Manage all brand projects including, but not limited to, advertising (social media, print), PR, shopper marketing programs, and experiential sampling events
  • Support product development and project management for new products in the portfolio. Develop the innovation pipeline by identifying whitespaces in the category and taking them through the commercialization process.
  • Drive concept development and testing, evaluating financial and operational feasibility, formula development, and packaging design.
  • Build annual sales and marketing presentations and present to the liquor boards
  • Work alongside broker network to develop and execute in-store shopper marketing executions
  • Work collaboratively with the Insights team to identify Canadian market trends that support portfolio growth
  • Analyze business results to ensure strategies are effective and objectives are being attained
  • Actively manage the brand marketing budgets (total portfolio)

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Business and/or Marketing;
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in product and/or brand management, preferably in the beverage alcohol or consumer product industries;
  • Experience in creative development process with external partners;
  • Experience in playing a central role as part of cross-functional teams;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Canadian beverage alcohol and retail landscape;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge in working with ACD (or equivalent) data, an asset.
