Job Description

The Accountant III will be responsible for research and resolution of accounting issues, reconciliations, maintaining internal controls, and auditing the work of others to ensure timely and accurate financial closings as they relate to Supply Chain transactions (Inventory, COGS, Accruals and Reconciliations). Responsible to accurately complete assigned projects, may build work procedures for other accountants, prepare reports for internal/external stakeholders, create content for financial statements and research proper accounting practices as needed. Represents team on process improvement initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, prepare journal entries, analyze accounting transactions and perform reconciliations
  • Facilitate closing process across multiple ledgers and accounting teams
  • Preparation of internal/external financial reports
  • Review of accounting transactions for appropriate treatment
  • Perform financial analysis and analytics
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Support the development of and adherence to internal control processes
  • Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development
  • Assist with special requests and ad-hoc projects
  • Provides support and coverage for other accounting staff as necessary
  • Perform research and analysis to support product supply accounting entries
  • Create and maintain process documentation


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field with 3 to 9 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 2 to 7 years of experience
  • Strong accounting system knowledge and experience
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications necessary, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Solid understanding of business process and analysis tools
  • High degree of dedication and initiative
  • Strong analytical, technical, project management and organization skills
  • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our manufacturing best practices
