Account Representative and Merchandiser for Sun Prairie, WI

Build effective relationships with store management in the course of performing daily responsibilities. Provide merchandising, display and reset expertise. Check store for competitive activity and volume opportunity. Monitor product movement and check inventory to calculate and determine required case order. Prepare recommended sales order and review and finalize with store manager, explaining the reasoning behind the recommended brands/packages and informing manager of any current or future promotions to order additional cases. Work with handheld computer and District Managers to coordinate delivery and merchandising schedule.

Shift and Schedule

  • Full-time, Tuesday- Saturday (specific to Woodman's)
  • 6:00 am until work is finished

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay beginning at $17.50 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
  • Mileage reimbursement for the use of your personal vehicle (avg. 10 mi./wk)

Position Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with store management in the course of performing daily responsibilities.
  • Provide merchandising, display and product reset assistance.
  • Check store for competitive activity and volume opportunity.
  • Monitor product movement and inventory to calculate and determine required case order.
  • Prepare recommended sales order for store manager.
  •  Inform store manager of current or future product promotions to assist in forecasting product level requirements.
  • Work with handheld computer and District Managers to coordinate delivery and merchandising schedule.


Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets/upselling
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Valid driver’s license
