Based in Orlando, FL or Southeast US metropolitan area in support of our PBNA South Division US Large Format & Small Format business, this ADM position is a critical role for KDP within our PASO (Pepsi Affiliated Sales Organization) sales team. This role will be accountable for specific business solutions and plans that drive volume, profit and share growth for our Crush and Schweppes TMs in each Retail Channel working closely with Pepsi Beverages Company CCO & South Division account teams and KDP national and regional account teams. The right candidate must bring solution-based thinking and an extraordinary level of commitment with the ability to drive strong collaborative partnerships with both our PBNA partners and our internal KDP Retail account teams in building, selling and executing our channel strategies including annual account plan development and integration, core brand alignment, brand-led specific programming, investment management, and market execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Business Management: solid understanding of business and brands including price and package mix, revenue and margin, products, promotion planning and execution.
  • Selling and Customer Management: solid understanding of each Retail channel. In addition this person needs to demonstrate an understanding of the DSD / Bottler route-to-market business model.
  • Build, manage and support all aspects of customer relationships in a collaborative teamwork approach: planning, influencing / selling and execution.
  • Strategic Planning: develop and support the long term strategic growth plans for retailers in coordination with PBNA Retail Account teams as well as both internal and external cross-functional partners.
  • Investment Strategy: maximize and execute retail trade budgets against promotional plans / calendars to deliver optimal volume, revenue and profit results.
  • Stakeholder Management: lead commercialization of Crush and Schweppes TMs initiatives with PBNA leaders while driving alignment within their Core Brands business plan and calendar.
  • Market, Channel, and Account Intelligence: demonstrate ability to understand and apply channel and market insights into sales strategy leadership in support of business planning processes.
  • Drive and Accountability: have and implement an “own it” mindset in delivering success against collective team, bottler and individual goals.
  • Top retailers within this role’s accountability include but are not limited to: Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Food Lion, Southeast Grocers, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Circle K, 7-Eleven, SuperValu, Food City.


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution and three years of Consumer Product Goods sales experience preferred.  
  • Three to Five years of CPG sales experience including national accounts experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Experience with customer (retailer/bottler) management including application of strategic planning and investment management in executing both national and regional account strategies.
  • Strong acumen in using insights to drive fact-based selling and solutions in support of delivering channel and brand plans, programs and promotions.
