Essential functions

  • Maintain and modifying CAD models in Teamcenter Solidworks Integration Manager.
  • Enforce modeling and drafting standards within the KGM team and with external suppliers.
  • Generate design solutions to technical problems.
  • Measuring, maintaining and modifying the performance of mechanical components to meet the product requirements.
  • Providing technical advice, writing good reports and documentations.
  • Create or revise accurate, detailed, SolidWorks CAD models, drawings, BOM’s, and other engineering documentation as required.
  • Participate in design and drawing reviews, prototype builds and verification testing and documentation.
  • Release drawings via Engineering Change Requests (ECR) process utilizing Teamcenter ERP system.
  • Shepard engineering change requests and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) through Teamcenter ERP system.



  • 5+ years working experience with the application of Solidworks and Teamcenter or industrial practiced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Have strong surface modeling and structural simulation working experience.
  • 5+ years working experience in the design of plastic molded parts, and complex assemblies, in the home appliance industry. Has tooling knowledge and experience.
  • Experience creating detailed engineering/product drawings for manufactured mechanical components, including bill of materials generation.
  • Knowledge and experience in creating/doing mechanical design and engineering works.
  • Working knowledge in Plastic Tooling DFM.
  • Knowledge and experience in creating 2D drawings or 3D CAD models.
  • Working knowledge and experience in ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerance standards, including GD&T.
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting Tolerance Stack-up Analysis and Finite Element Analysis.
  • Demonstrable ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Prior experience in a consumer products company will be an advantage.
  • Command of good written and spoken English.
  • Minimum qualification with Diploma in engineering field.
