Keurig Dr. Pepper is looking for a hands-on experienced Sales Trainer analyzes training needs, creates and updates curriculum for both classroom and non-classroom learning programs, delivers training programs in a variety of mediums, formulates standardized training programs and development plans, and ensures effective and optimized operations of the Sales Training Team, and support our vision to “Be the Best Beverage Business in the Americas”.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Contribute to sales learning and development strategy and execution.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and confer with program/project managers & business leaders to determine sales training needs.
  • Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training.
  • Design appropriate training strategies and schedules, based on knowledge of identified sales training needs.
  • Ensure effective coordination of training programs across sales.
  • Develop and curate a repertoire of non-classroom learning programs and tools to meet the on-trend needs of the business and the modern learner.
  • Maintain the training program repository and ensure it remains completed and up to date.
  • Develop evaluation methods of measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives and facilitator quality, providing recommendations for improvement for both program content and structure and facilitation. 
  • Identify, analyze, and report on key learning and development metrics.
  • Benchmark external training programs and best practices, identify trends, evaluate efficacy, and share across the team.
  • Responsible for coordination, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the department/team and creating a positive climate where people want to do their best.
  • This role will be focusing on training within our DSD (Direct Store Delivery) group.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in a related field and minimum 5 years of related experience, or Masters in a related field and minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, adult learning, needs assessment, and performance measurement.
  • Experience in developing project plans for training development and implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience with learning management systems (LMS) configuration and utilization best practices.
  • Ability to take initiative; be proactive without waiting for direction; strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Able to work collaboratively across business units and project teams.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and execute.
  • Ideal candidate will have Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience
  • Skill in writing proficiency, visual graphics design, and creative talent.
  • Skill in cost analysis and budget management.
  • Skill in motivating and coaching individuals and influencing across a complex network.
  • Skill in assessing training needs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Skill in facilitation, public speaking and moderating large groups.
  • Skill in aligning strategic and operational needs with training programs and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
