Summary


The Knowledge Management Specialist II will have prior experience in document control, a solid understanding of engineering document management process, organization, revision control and archiving. You will play a pivotal role in making our documentation process efficient and accurate, while enabling our products to be best in class in cost, quality and performance.


Details


• Complete product definition activities such as creating product data models / Bills of materials (BOM's), following-up with content owners & authors on required information/data, including reference information.
• Complete Engineering Change Requests and Notices Management (ECRs/ECNs) as required.
• Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to be the steward of our standards in support of engineering
• Participate in the publication of Policies, Procedures, Training Materials, and Standards for efficient document management.
• Demonstrate a strong information management aptitude and be skilled in the effective use of company software and PLM/database systems.
• Ensure all Product information is clear, concise, complete, and accurate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient workplace
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to projects and timelines.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment and work within a global team



Requirements

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, Technical Certificate, AS or BS in Technical or Information Management Discipline, or equivalent experience.

• With more than 3+ years working experience.

• Effective communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.

• Computer skills: spreadsheet, Visio (or similar), word processing, PowerPoint, e-mail, database systems. Basic database administration knowledge and skills.

• Basic familiarity with CAD files would be a plus, but not mandatory.

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced High-Performance Team environment, learning, flexing and changing consistently, and executing routine tasks as needed.

• Fluent written and spoken English is required as the working language is English.
