Forklift Operator Lead - Tucson, AZ

Loads, unloads, stages, pulls and distributes pallets of product supplies. Rotates floor stock by moving oldest product first. Performs other Warehouse or production duties as assigned. Must be certified. Lead role to other fork lift operators who will assign and regulate workflow.

Position Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks
  • Coordinating materials throughout the KDP Tuscon facility
  • Monitoring, counting, tracking and receiving of materials
  • Directs daily work flow of forklift operators and stepping in where needed. Ability to lead the crew with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task and provide feedback
  • May load route trucks and semi-trailers with propane or battery-operated forklift and/or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required
  • Assist with unloading

Total Rewards

  • Pay starting at $23.28 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $24.50 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must follow all Keurig Dr Pepper and Safety policies, procedures and programs.
  • Working knowledge of all plant operations, work regions and the processes that support them. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong math and computer skills (Microsoft suite).
  • Strong analytical skills (graphs, charts, manipulate data)
  • Previous work with continuous process improvement and Lean tools preferred (value stream analysis, 5S).
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and good trouble shooting/follow up skills.
  • Positive attitude/self motivated.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, and the ability to work independently.
  • Prior Inventory Control experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift
  • Ability to push/pull up to 1.500 pounds using supplied equipment
  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
