As a Sales Coordinator, you are a critical part of the team and will provide comprehensive, reliable, high-quality sales support to our H-E-B National Retail Sales (NRS) team. You will be responsible for facilitating team meetings and setting up for customer meetings and conference calls. In addition, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing high level administration and analytical support to the H-E-B National account team as well as the H-E-B customer, completing and maintaining sales and trade data and customer profiles, and completing all administrative and paperwork requirements involved with setting up a new customer or adding a current SKU to the customer’s product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit pricing into the H-E-B system (Costs and Deals) for authorized products and follow SOP for submitting pricing
  • Follow the established SOP to offer submissions in H-E-B‘s system
  • Meet H-E-B Deadlines for pricing and coupons for H-E-B Business Development Managers (buyers) and their Business Development Assistants
  • Be the SME on H-E-B processes for yellow coupon, digi deal, HRM offer submissions.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with H-E-B BDMs and BDAs to support the H-E-B business and H-E-B NRS team
  • Assist with resolving and researching pricing/retail issues with H-E-B buyer assistants as they occur
  • Work with H-E-B's Product team to resolve any new product scanning issues, coupon scanning issues, or products not linked with our vendor numbers
  • Coordinate delivery of H-E-B buyers requested items needed for H-E-B sets or category refresh needs
  • Work with the HEB Sales Analyst to update the H-E-B Matrix, review DEX reports weekly and address any pricing opportunities

  • Maintain internal systems as appropriate by inputting customer data, pricing, volume, and/or trade spend.
  • Review with NAE and Upload H-E-B promotions to My Day each month for the sales teams to execute
  • Ensure warehouse direct promotional sell sheets are accurate and submit to Advantage retail partners on time
  • Support Sales team to resolve order and inventory problems by: investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers
  • Weekly reviewing and resolving DEX issues
  • Support Sales team to resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices, and forwarding resolution to managers.
  • Provide product, promotion and pricing information by clarifying customer requests; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
  • Work closely with Senior Sales analyst to provide sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Ensure alignment with ISO bottlers and SOP are followed for HEB
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite a must (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with database experience (Siebel or CRM systems) a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop efficient and effective “go to market” processes.
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
