Digital Marketing Manager

We are searching for a strategic and innovative Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead/enhance KDP’s Foodservice Solutions (FSS) digital marketing efforts by providing national and regional restaurant owner/operators with advanced digital marketing tools and insights beyond what the competition can provide. In collaboration with the FSS Customer Marketing Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing digital marketing strategies that delivers unparalleled value to our foodservice customers that drives consideration and beverage sales.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Acting as both an internal and external subject-matter-expert (SME) who understands the unique digital marketing challenges and opportunities faced by foodservice owner/operators and franchisees in the ‘new’ digital normal coming out of the pandemic
  • Cultivating valuable digital partnerships that creates value for our FS customers, e.g., next generation customer experience agencies and ad technology partners, etc.
  • Managing relationships with third-party delivery app platforms companies, e.g., Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.
  • Providing a focus on optimizing customer apps and loyalty programs (acquisition, development & retention); providing insights on social media trends and effective display advertising campaigns

What You Will Do:

  1. Develop Integrated Digital Marketing Strategies:
    • In collaboration with the FSS Customer Marketing Team, develop digital marketing strategies that optimizes foodservice customer-specific loyalty programs, and co-marketing initiatives that drives beverage consideration and sales.
    • Function as an internal consultant, collaborating with internal cross-functional marketing teams to align foodservice digital marketing efforts with overall KDP FSS business objectives and customer needs.
  1. Provide Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Serve as a subject-matter-expert to internal sales and marketing teams regarding the unique digital marketing challenges and opportunities faced by foodservice operators in the new (digital) normal.
    • In collaboration with FSS Customer Marketing Team, discuss digital and social media strategies, CRM/loyalty initiatives, and recommend suitable partners to enhance their digital presence, optimizes beverage strategies through digital channels, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  1. Manage Digital Partnerships:
    • Assess and evaluate new digital partnerships that can help amplify FSS value to foodservice customers by evaluating their compatibility with our business and facilitate integration efforts for mutual benefit for both FSS and our customers. Potential partners include digital ad tech and guest experience agencies, etc.
    • Evaluate our current FSS Digital Marketing Tech Stack to understand digital partnership gaps, I.e., on-premise ordering/payments; marketing analytics, CRM; order delivery apps (B2B), etc.
  1. Oversee Creation and Optimization of Digital Content with Brand Voice:
    • Work with internal Commercial and Customer Marketing teams and external agencies to develop compelling and relevant content for foodservice customer digital platforms, positioning our beverage products and services as the preferred choice for foodservice customers.
    • Manage internal FSS asset availability and ensure product accuracy; update and distribute content as necessary to internal & external stakeholders.
  1. Agency Management:
    • Brief and lead external agencies and partners from planning to execution.
  1. Remain Current on Evolving Digital Marketing Landscape:
    • Have a deep understanding of the marketing, media, and digital landscape and remain current on the latest insights, tools, and strategies.

Requirements

Requirements / Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field with a minimum of 5-7+ years in progressive digital marketing, B2B and/or B2C marketing, brand marketing, or agency experience, preferably with a packaged goods company.
  • Experience in the Foodservice Industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing integrated marketing programs across multiple digital channels.
  • Experience with e-commerce, mobile marketing, and loyalty systems.
  • Knowledge of CRM and retention marketing is valuable.
  • Have a deep understanding of the marketing, media, and digital landscape; general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Have a data-driven mindset, with a focus on how to use insights to influence planning and execution.
  • Experience in leading and/or being a part of cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly communicate and deliver.
  • Strong project management skills, advanced strategic, critical, and creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%) for marketing and sales meetings, tradeshows and/or customer shows and meetings with external partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel)
