Job Description



Accounting

  • Process coupon requests within our workflow tool and our clearing house in accordance with industry guidelines and company trade and marketing policies
  • Establish funding for all coupons within company subledgers according to accounting principals
  • Provide assistance as requested in reconciling subledger entries to the financial general ledger
  • Process quarterly coupon funding adjustments, evaluating future funding trends and needs
  • Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Brand Marketing to communicate and resolve request issues on a timely basis
  • As needed, provide assistance to the audit team to process trade and marketing payment requests through Esker and our subledgers

Process Improvements

  • Prepare and support other initiatives as requested
  • Implementation of improvements to processes and systems

Business Decision Support

  • Provide direction and coupon redemption forecasting support to Sales and Brand Marketing upon request
  • Partner with Graphics, Legal, third party print and creative suppliers, and clearing house to provide industry guidance for wording and design of coupons and barcoding based upon standards and approved policies
  • Research and provide insight on retailer inquiries regarding payment denials for redemption submissions


Requirements

  • Business-related degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of SAP, Outlook, and database tools such as Siebel (or equivalent) preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
