The Identity and Access Management Security Engineer has the overall responsibility for KDP’s Identity and Access Management Program. This role will be responsible for Entitlement, Authentication, Governance and Identity operations. This is a highly visible role, supervising all IAM technology solutions across the company. The IAM Security Engineer will be responsible for helping to transform the organization by strategically leveraging technology, process and talent to effectively manage risk, while remaining current with the evolving threat landscape. Having the ability to develop strong relationships with IT and business leaders across the enterprise is a critical component to the success of the individual chosen to lead this function.

The qualified candidate will lead a multidiscipline team that is responsible for securing identities and their access to enterprise systems and applications. The candidate must foster continued growth and technical expertise within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day IAM operations
  • Technical depth and working knowledge in Identity Governance, Active Directory, Privileged Access Management
  • Develop a global strategy and roadmap for Identity and Access Management while ensuring scalability, resilience and a seamless end user experience
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in building, executing and managing enterprise IAM initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in creating IAM processes, implementing and integrating appropriate technologies, and evolving/maturing organizational cultures and processes.
  • Develop and implement appropriate Key Performance Indicators and metrics to demonstrate program health and status; including development of scorecards/dashboards.
  • Manage and lead a matrixed team of high performing individuals across multiple functions, including vendors.
  • Manage project budgets and scope, identify risks, and conduct contingency planning.
  • Own the identity management policies and processes, maintaining applicable compliance (i.e. PCI, SOX)
  • Direct and guide the IAM teams on major project initiatives
  • Integrate IAM systems with in-house applications, third party applications and SaaS applications for provisioning, identity authentication, and developing connectors between IAM tools and system resources 
  • Create a sustainable maintenance cycle for existing solutions to ensure solutions are up to date and technical solutions are fully leveraged / utilized. Develop and maintain technology roadmap and refresh cycles. Rationalize overlapping tools on a periodic basis based on updates to product capabilities.
  • Partner with peer delivery organizations within IT to drive secure solutions without being a road-block
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills and be comfortable presenting ideas and issues to different levels within and outside of the organization, to include; executive leadership, customers, auditors, governance committees, etc.
  • Have a demonstrated track-record for building and leading exceptional teams through collaboration, mentoring, skill training and transition of technologies and processes as technologies and compliance requirements evolve.
  • Work across functions to improve IAM solutions to enhance compliance requirements and best practices 
  • Conduct POCs of new Access Management products and services to validate integration needs



Requirements

Required Skills:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability. 
  • 5+ years of experience building Identity & Access Management services or IAM products.
  • 5+ years managing IAM tools in an architect or engineering role. Sailpoint, CyberArk, Active Directory, OKTA experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years in information security or risk management including CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years lead and managing teams
  • 3+ years managing delivery of technology projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams and manage relationships across multiple areas of the business including Audit, Compliance, and other executive stakeholders
  • Sound judgment and ability to effectively balance information risk controls with business productivity and growth.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences that include senior management.
  • Broad knowledge of current and emerging information technology industry trends and directions including common information security management frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, and COBIT
  • Strong knowledge of authentication technologies and tools
  • Experience in building robust internal products/tools or production backend services at scale. 
  • Knowledge and experience with Identity Management solutions, Kerberos, SSO, OAuth, SAML, Encryption, PKI 
  • Ability to manage project constraints time, cost and quality 
  • Ability to collaborate across many participating teams.
