Job Description

Recycling and Sanitation Technician 

The Allentown manufacturing operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling facility. The site will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams.  All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation.  The site will run on with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes. 


Recycling and Sanitation Support Technician 

The Recycling and Satiation Support Technician assists production operations in the preparation of cleaning and sanitation chemicals, and the disposition of materials for recycling operations at the site.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform duties with a safety first approach
  • Ensure work areas are clean and organized at all times
  • Possess understanding of recycling equipment so it can be safety operated and cleaned.
  • Operates large hydraulic carton and plastic balers
  • Ability to recognize and sort different grades of paper, corrugated and plastic materials so resultant bale is of uniform composition.
  • Dispense and measure cleaning chemicals with required PPE and safe handling practices.
  • Safely and properly store, restock and replenish supplies as appropriate
  • Perform inventory cycle counting of supplies and materials
  • Operate industrial lifts and floor scrubbers within safety standards
  • Preform basic general maintenance
  • Completes proper and accurate documentation as required



  • 6 months of previous forklift operation experience required
  • Demonstrated working experience performing mechanical adjustments and repairs with basic hand tools
  • Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
  • Clean-in-place (CIP) or chemical handling experience is preferred
