Job Description



The Sales Execution Manager reports to the Sr. Director and is responsible for managing and building relationships in both Walmart / Target within a specific area of the country to achieve maximum sales volume and margin consistent with sales projections and goals at KDP. The position also helps deliver KDP (Keurig Dr Pepper) total and customer-specific volume, gross sales, net sales, mix, margin and profit objectives for company-owned DSD (Direct Store Delivery) portfolio through operator sales calls and in store execution.

Position Responsibilities:

-Help deliver KDP total and customer-specific volume, gross sales, net sales, mix, margin and profit objectives for company-owned DSD and W/D portfolio through operator sales calls and in store execution

-Guarantee operational execution at regional / local levels of Walmart and Target

-Develop and sell programming and events; assuring execution of all initiatives

-Partner with Category Management and RMM & Catman to create detailed business reviews and programming

-Sell retail activity with these compelling selling stories, based on detailed research, to retailer business unit / regional / market management

-Build strong relationships with market / regional retailer operation teams

-Communicate frequently as part of larger collaborative National Account teams to ensure complete understanding of current programs and implications at retail – communicate this information throughout DSD sales organization

-Proactively identify opportunities to drive better execution within KDP’s largest and most important accounts

-Work closely with Broker Management and National Account teams to police brokers who are impacting in store execution

-Work with BUGMs to develop regional pricing and promotional plans for Walmart and Target

-Develop, sell, and drive W/D merchandising events within retailer markets / regions

Actively participate on the Walmart and Target virtual teams



Requirements

Position Requirements:

-Deep understanding of KDP route to market across the portfolio

-Experience with in-store execution

-Account selling experience – deep understanding of external dynamics (e.g., consumer behavior, competitors, partners)

-Outstanding customer relationship skills and demonstrated success in achieving business objectives with commercial partners

-Understanding of how to navigate the KDP organization

-Positive, collaborative, fact-based and purposeful style that engages broader organization and breaks down silos wherever they exist
