Production Planner Victorville, CA

The Production Planner is responsible for inventory, materials, repacking and deployment raw goods for company owned production facility consistent with the delivery of the lowest Total Delivered Economic Cost Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP). This role will also ensure that goods are available to satisfy the prescribed service requirements established for our customers, both internal and external, while at the same time continuing to improve investment in working capital and minimizing the costs of manufacturing, storage, transportation, and obsolescence risk through processes and continuous improvement. This role is also planned to be part of a leadership rotation from Planning to Production Supervision and would have direct reports.


  1. Create and drive a culture of continuous improvement through implementing and driving repeatable processes.
  2. Accountable for finished goods/materials inventory (operating working capital), material handling, and batching operation.
  3. Develop process to drive inventory accuracy and performance in an SAP environment, supporting assigned product groups and ensuring all targeted customer service.
  4. Communicate any issues related to stock availability to all appropriate parties. 
  5. Ensure that all requirements are accurately reflected in SAP in a timely manner.  Properly communicate any exceptions to the normal time-fence. 
  6. Ensure product has desired freshness.  Minimize “aged” inventory and product obsolescence.
  7. Make recommendations for long term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of responsibility.
  8. Creates and drives a culture of TPM and continuous improvement.
  9. Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.



  • Bachelors' in Business, Systems Analysis, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering Preferred
  • 2+ experience and understanding of Kanban and/or replenishment pool systems
  • 2+ years experience in planning and purchasing for a manufacturing organization
  • Experience with SAP or a similar MRP system
  • Experience with Excel utilizing advanced functionality.
