The KDP Spring Co-op Program will run from January 6, 2020 – July 3, 2020 and this position will be based in at our Knoxville, TN Plant.  Elements of the KDP Spring Co-op Program include:

  • You will engage and partner on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
  • You will receive mentor support for your professional development
  • You will present a final presentation to your team, peers, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business
  • You will network and learn about other functions at Keurig Dr Pepper through a Lunch & Learn series
  • You will have the opportunity to volunteer in the community                                                     

As a Quality Co-op, you will:                                              

  • Learn and lead project in Coffee Processing department to improve yield
  • Learn Kaizen facilitation and provide support to Continuous Improvement led kaizen events
  • Learn and utilize the KDP way to develop Knoxville best practices using TPM best practices
  • Learn leadership principles while directing performance enhancing activities
  • Complete an A3 (8 step) problem solving project to include a report out to KDP supply chain network
  • Learn and manage departmental budget to include fixed and variable costs based management


Requirements

What you must have:                      

  • Must be an undergraduate junior or senior currently enrolled in a full time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Engineering, Reliability or Food Science
  • IE, Food Science or Project Management experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, is independently driven, and a self-starter
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
