Job Description

The Production Scheduler role is responsible for scheduling production processes for finished goods SKU’s throughout the manufacturing facilities based on the Multi-Site Planning SKU business unit allocations. This position works closely in a team environment with Multi-Site Production Planning, Site Operations Management, Manufacturing, Order Management, New Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution/Logistics. This position is responsible for the appropriate information entry for schedules, and any supporting data elements.  The Production Scheduler may be responsible for more than one type of finished good packaging type product, and is required to work with others in the group to provide uninterrupted coverage from a scheduling perspective to the business. 

What you will do:
  • Evaluates Multi-site SKU demand allocations, analyzes and plans Operations production schedules based on current and evolving business needs, Ops site capacities, and special equipment or timing needs.
  • Determines schedules with the intent to balance staffing, machine capacity, and production efficiencies using computerized models and system applications.
  • Schedules Distribution Center variety packs as appropriate for product lines responsible for.
  • Partners with the Multi-Site Production Planning Team to understand priorities based on demand signals, sales trends, and inventory status and policy.
  • Responsible for communicating with Manufacturing Leaders and making adjustments to the production scheduled based on staffing restriction, raw materials, and machine availability.
  • Participate and support Keurig Dr Pepper's continuous improvement initiatives associated with manufacturing processes.
  • Resolve scheduling challenges through a combination of queries, reports, and other problem solving techniques.


What you must have: 
  • At least one year scheduling experience (consumer goods manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or supply chain accreditation (preferred).
  • ERP/MRP experience required.
  • Great communication skills – verbal, written, and electronic.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
  • Computer literacy, preferably with spreadsheets, ERP systems, and SAP.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Predominantly sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday).
