Job Description

As Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for the development, delivery and execution of strategic merchandising solutions for our National Cold Beverage programs.  The position will deliver solutions for new product innovation launches as well as “Big Bet” Brand programs.

The role demands a results-oriented, strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a background in merchandising consumer products.  Candidate must bring solutions-based thinking, analytical rigor and an extraordinary level of drive to this position.  This individual will also be responsible for collaborating with and influencing a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

  • Lead the strategic merchandising program development and execution of the National Cold Beverage programs from concept brief to in store execution and post program analysis
  • Deliver on-strategy merchandising program development, including program set-up, vendor negotiation and management to address business needs and achieve brand objectives
  • Create and manage project timelines to ensure on-time program delivery and execution
  • Prepare all National Cold Beverage program selling materials
  • Manage event creation, item set-up and order details through internal SAP system. Create order forms, purchase requisitions and order recaps as well as manage inventory coordination and fulfillment.
  • Flawless budget management including item sourcing, purchase order set-up and invoice tracking and payment to ensure on-budget merchandising program delivery
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Consumer Engagement and Category Teams to provide merchandising solutions that meet objectives and deliver growth
  • Collaboration/Alignment with Key Stakeholders.
  • Gain feedback for post-program assessments and share learning/implications with the broader team.
  • Project Management: drive execution of all Merchandising projects from initial concept thru to commercialization
  • Vendor liaison - manage premier agencies and supplier resources
  • Integrate with Consumer Engagement, Shopper Marketing and Commercial Teams on developing & executing National Cold Beverage Programs
  • Streamline processes to update, maintain and analyze merchandising measurement tools
  • Source cost efficient merchandising tools to support brand initiatives
  • Conduct post-program analysis rig of all merchandising initiatives to show ROI and identify areas for improvement. Present results to key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing processes/tools and make recommendations for change that drives productivity and efficiency on all projects
  • Gather/apply display expertise and monitor merchandising industry trends, competitive actions to continually provide “Best-in-Class” innovative solutions


What you must have:

-Minimum 4-6 years of merchandising experience preferably in consumer products and/or a retail setting

-Understanding of consumers beverages and Packaged Goods product businesses

-A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred

-Experience in development of retail point of purchase materials (displays, signage, fixtures, etc.)

-A successful track record of bringing products to market

-Experience leading creative agencies & suppliers

-Demonstrated skill in managing multiple priorities

-Creative mindset to lead project ideation

-Highly collaborative, experience leading cross-functional peers to drive results

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency

-Strong organizations skills and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met both internally and externally

-Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator a plus

-Ability to travel as needed
