Merchandising Manager

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for achieving sales, gross margin and profit goals through the selection, pricing and promotion of merchandise through a team of Merchandisers. Details
  • This position is based out of our San Leandro facility and will be responsible for a team of merchandisers covering the South Bay area.  This includes, but is not limited to, stores in the Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy.
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Wednesday and Thursday off), 5:30am until finished (typically around 2:00pm).
  • Ability to use your own vehicle to travel around the territory as needed.
  • Manage a team of Merchandisers or Merchandising Supervisors.
  • Conduct on the job orientation and training for all new Merchandisers.
  • Provide individual and group training sessions to further develop Merchandisers.
  • Route Merchandisers for sales and deliveries to be cost-effective and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Monitor retail pricing to maintain proper retails and competitive pricing.
  • Utilize appropriate merchandising and management techniques to maximize the company’s return on inventory investment and space in stores.
  • Develop and implement a strategy, analysis and appropriate reaction sales trend in order to maximize business.


  • 3 years of merchandising experience
  • 1 year of merchandising management/supervisory experience
