Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic I at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of process equipment.  Maintenance technicians must be highly quality-conscious, aggressively self-directed, motivated team players, and willing trainers—eager to gain and share new knowledge.   

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position working 5:00 PM - 5:15 AM. The schedule for this position is Sunday-Tuesday (alternating Wednesdays).

Position Compensation

The starting rate of pay for this position is 24.85 per hour plus a shift differential. Attractive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc).


  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
  • Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks (i.e., cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring advanced technical expertise and knowledge of safety procedures (e.g., electrical cabinets, machine interiors, etc.).
  • Thoroughly document maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
  • Champion process improvement in assigned areas by analyzing equipment maintenance history, identifying significant causes of waste, coordinating with appropriate employees to develop root-cause solutions, and providing maintenance assistance as necessary.
  • Provide Preventative Maintenance support for plant and equipment
  • Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain process equipment in “Grade A” condition 
  • Maintain safe clean work areas and comply with all safety requirements
  • Assist in day-to-day support of operators, adjustments, setups, and change over
  • Assist maintenance techs as required
  • Consistently meets internal/external customer expectations through teamwork, respect, positive and effective communication, and a willingness to help and support others.
  • Participate on improvement teams and coordinate with engineers and vendors on special projects
  • Responsible to report food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance concerns to management.
  • Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.



  • 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters and controls and electronic circuit boards
  • Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, walking and standing for long period of time
