HR Program Manager – HR Technology Delivery

The HR Program Manager – HR Technology Delivery role is both a hands-on and strategic role that provides project leadership and support to the HRIS team. This role is critical in monitoring and controlling the execution of project initiatives, managing change, driving HR functional excellence, process improvement and providing superior customer support. This role will combine HR with project management expertise, while leveraging the blended skillset of an HR Business Partner, Project Manager and Senior Business Consultant, to operationalize and manage projects from original concept through successful change management and final implementation.

What you will do:

  • Build an integrated HRIS portfolio view of all activities and projects (Workday stabilization, refinements, newly discovered issues, and annual processes) to ensure visibility to work and resources can be assigned, and appropriate work-related decisions are made in a timely manner
  • Define and evolve the HRIS program structure to ensure proper cadence and governance are applied to operationalize the HRIS portfolio. Activities include regular team and management reports and presentations about achievements, progress/watch areas, risks and possible mitigations
  • Mobilize our team to achieve great things through excellent work management fundamentals. Prepare update reports and presentations to share progress to team and management. Help coach and develop our team in more effective ways of work. 
  • Support program managers and program management processes at the governance level of HR and IT transformation initiatives. This includes developing project plans in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders to execute strategic HR initiatives, distribute work among team members (including self, this role will also execute project deliverables), set expectations, and relentlessly drive to deliver projects with excellence, on time and on budget.  Help the teams translate ambiguous goals into specific tactics and milestones to help them improve and accelerate their ability to execute.
  • Use HR and project experience to confidently question the status quo, challenge assumptions, and deftly course-correct various working teams when solutions begin to fall short of our principles
  • Understand and exhibit ownership of the transformative outcomes of HR initiatives, and consult with project teams to ensure the team’s work is leading to those promised outcomes
  • Own major end-to-end processes and events on a project, take initiative, and use problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved
  • Partner with HR and Business project sponsors to bring definition to a project; create project plan outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements, and timelines
  • Use broad knowledge of HR to lead team members to approach the project in a manner that results in a cohesive and integrated solution
  • Independently gather information from a variety of sources; to analyze, interpret, and summarize data gathered, and to deliver insights; help drive leadership ability to make faster decisions by effectively distilling complex problems into simple options and trade-offs
  • Establish partnerships and consults with key business stakeholders and HR team members, and foster an environment where action can be taken, through use of high quality presentations, plans, and communication
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the HR team contributing to a positive work environment
  • Provide feedback to project team members as necessary for high performance
  • Facilitate problem-solving activities to define problems, assess current state root causes, design and test solutions, and implement solutions leading to desired outcomes tied to business results
  • Be knowledgeable in leading edge HR practices, trends and information; aware of employee engagement strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace

What you must have:

  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Human Resources or related degree; MBA or relevant Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience and 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects
  • PMP® Certification preferred
  • ScrumMaster and/or Scrum Product Owner Certification preferred
  • Consultant and vendor management expertise strongly preferred
  • Must be able to develop and clearly and concisely present a professional, high quality product to multiple levels of management (including C-suite)
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders
  • Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to translate complicated project concepts (milestones, risks, desired outcomes, decision options, etc.) into concise observations and recommendations
  • Possess strong strategic orientation, analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and evaluate broad impacts of work
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to lead, influence, and motivate others in the work group regardless of level
  • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
  • Demonstrated successful application of project management methodology, tools, and best practices
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
  • Experience in effective change management techniques and implementation
  • Possesses broad knowledge covering multiple Human Resources functions
  • Experience with organizational design and process improvement
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our best practices
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our operating principles
  • Anticipate to travel up to 50%
