This position is responsible for assisting and leading in building, maintaining, & enhancing the financial system (Cognos TM1/IBM Planning Analytics) used for budgeting/forecasting/reporting and the reconciliation tool (ReconNet) in order to meet the requirements from various finance departments.

Position Responsibilities

  • Performs complex application programming activities including, coding, configuration, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying complex applications programs (including TM1 and ReconNET)
  • Involve in troubleshooting issues as and when arisen and support during month-end activities
  • Technical/functional support for all TM1 interfacing systems.
  • Assist in application upgrades to ensure latest software functionality and continued vendor support.
  • Develop reports based on the business requirements.
  • Work closely with FP&A Systems Administration and other Finance and Accounting teams in determining requirements, translate it to design and develop specific finance applications.
  • Preparation and maintenance of documents for system design, data flow, procedures, and general information.
  • Assist in ensuring TM1 Windows and Linux servers are compliant in memory usage and backup.
  • Asssist Manager with ad-hoc development requests.
  • Develop and maintain SQL/Snowflake query code.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; MIS/Computer Science/Finance or related field a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
  • Strong proficiency in mathematics and applied sciences
  • Experience in documenting functional and technical design
  • Knowledge in Finance modules like General Ledger, Account Payable & Receivable, Sales & Distribution, and Fixed Assets
  • 2+ years financial systems experience required (preferably ReconNET, TM1, Snowflake/SQL)
  • 1+ years finance, financial planning and analysis, or accounting experience or applicable college-level courses preferred
