Job Description



As the Environmental Compliance Specialist II, you will be responsible for coordinating environmental compliance policies and procedures company-wide.  You will ensure compliance and advance environmental management systems by providing information, developing programs, and implanting trainings in federal, state / provincial, and local environmental regulations that apply to operations throughout the US , Canada, and Mexico.  Additionally you will coordinate environmental assessments, guide corrective actions, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.

What you will do:

  • Provide support company-wide to satisfy environmental regulatory requirements and advance environmental management.
  • Ensure environmental assessments are conducted, corrective actions are completed on time, and all necessary documentation is kept.
  • Support environmental compliance due diligence and activities and assist in investigation and resolution of compliance risks.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and improve programs and trainings to ensure compliance environmental regulations, rules, and laws impacting the business.
  • Assist with acquisition and renewal of state/local/federal environmental permits, manage compliance data, and coordinate regulatory filings.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations and build and maintain effective working relationships with facility staff, as well as state and federal regulators.
  • Estimate pollutants to air, land, and water to devise mitigating measures and ensure that projects are in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Travel as necessary (~30%) to support the above tasks at all US, Canadian, and Mexican facilities, current and future.
  • Work closely across departments to improve EH&S performance.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.



Requirements

What you must have:

  • B.S. in environmental management/environmental engineering, or equivalent field.
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience knowledge with federal, state, and local environmental laws / regulations and standards. In-depth understanding of world-class environmental best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate environmental impact of business impacts, to implement environmental programs, and communicate with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong, written and oral communication as well as analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Passion about Keurig Dr Pepper’s social and environmental mission.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs and be proactive in resolving issues; and follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel as required, approximately 30% of time.
