Are you interested in being an integral part of a team responsible for shaping the future of IoT at a leading consumer beverage and appliance company? At Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), we’re building a team that is charged with developing and executing our overall IoT strategy, including defining the connected product roadmap, implementing the enabling technology platforms to bring them to market, and pursuing the data monetization opportunities that connected products can deliver.

As the Director of Software Product Management, you will define the vision and execute the short-term and long-term software roadmaps for Keurig’s at-home (AH) and away-from-home (AFH) brewers, working closely with our software engineers to guide products from ideation to launch, and with business partners to identify compelling new business opportunities, integrations and use cases.

You will be responsible for synthesizing technical requirements based on input captured from key stakeholders across the company and spanning all software components – from cloud services, mobile apps, embedded software and more. By partnering with the UX, insights, program management and engineering teams, you’ll ensure timely product delivery with sufficient time for rigorous internal and external dogfooding, testing and validation. You will also be responsible for lifecycle management, delivering routine, frequent updates informed by your instinct and experience and complemented with data-driven insights derived from telemetry and other sources of data.

What you will do

  • Establish and communicate the product vision while developing and executing the short-term and long-term product roadmaps
  • Partner with brewer product management, consumer insights, finance, engineering, UX and other business stakeholders to formulate and articulate detailed product requirements to pursue areas of opportunity that enhance the existing experience, deploy new value-adding experiences or create new business and partnership opportunities
  • Balance market dynamics, personal experience and instinct with the use of empirical data and telemetry to inform recommendations and decisions
  • Collaborate with the marketing and consumer insights teams to validate product and roadmap decisions as well as to provide insights for ongoing testing and optimization
  • Lead a cross-functional team, including marketing, ecommerce and others, that oversees strategic planning and deployment of app-based marketing using new capabilities such as in-app marketing content and push notifications
  • Ideate on future, conceptual and analytical frameworks and operating models
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the mobile app, IoT and embedded software spaces
  • Develop and measure product KPIs and devise and implement experiments to find suitable solutions to enhance performance
  • Synchronize and streamline roadmaps across cloud-based device and data management software, embedded firmware and mobile apps


Requirements

What you will have

  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MS degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant software product management experience, specifically with connected consumer products such as smart home and wearable products
  • Experience interacting with and guiding cross-functional teams of product managers, hardware, firmware and software engineers
  • Proven track record of using insights to prioritize and make decisions
  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams, leaders and outside partners up to the C-level
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience working with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile environment
