The Area Director will be responsible for all financial and company objectives for profitability and growth by directing all sales, operations and profit/loss for multiple branches in a given area. The Ideal Candidate will bring 3 or more year’s consumer product experience with a minimum of 3 years of Management/Supervisory experience. Leadership is key to the success of an Area Director. This individual must proactively partner with internal KDP resources that influence and help drive execution. Must be able to develop teams.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Direct all operations and profit/loss for multiple branches to meet financial and company objectives for profitability and growth.
  2. Direct 3-5 Branch operations covering all aspects of the business; Sales, Delivery, Merchandising, and Warehouse Operations
  3. Manage and develop people at all levels of the organization and create teams
  4. Be Customer Centric as this role will deal with the highest level of our customer base
  5. Be open to travel in market (up to 40%)
  6. Drive and implement Rapid Continue Improvements
  7. Provide knowledge in all compliance areas such as inventory and cash controls
  8. Be innovative and drive program development to ensure success in achieving volume and margin goals
  9. Develop chain success
  10. Develop UDS Share (Super Channel Convenience)
  11. Participate in Union negotiations/relationships
  12. Work with Contract Bottlers and Distributors to align programs
  13. Conduct roundtables and improve front line employee communication

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 3 years consumer products experience
  • 3 years prior management/supervisory experience
